Mass mulls tolls 🌁

Robo Rin Tin Tin takes a bullet  🤖 🐕

A Massachusetts State Police robot dog, known as “Roscoe”, found itself in the crosshairs during a tense showdown in Hyannis on March 6th. The standoff, which took hours to resolve, ended with the arrest of 30-year-old Justin Moreira. During the standoff, Moreira allegedly shot the robo dog, which was deployed along with other robots by the state police SWAT team. Roscoe, designed by Boston Dynamics, was the first Spot robot to be shot while on duty. The incident showcased the importance of high-tech tools like Roscoe in keeping officers safe during dangerous situations. Despite getting hit, Roscoe's manufacturer, Boston Dynamics, plans to keep the bot for research, proving that even robots can have heroic moments. Read the full story.
